The Outdoor Lighting Standards Committee:

• Serves as an advisory committee to the Department of Public Works
• Receives all matters pertaining to street lighting presented to or pending before the Department of Public Works for investigation, survey, advice and recommendation

Overview
The street lighting committee shall serve as an advisory committee to the department of public works of the County. All matters pertaining to street lighting presented to or pending before the department of public works shall, before any action thereof, be referred to the street lighting committee for investigation, survey, advice and the recommendation of the committee.

The committee is authorized to hold meetings, to make such investigations and survey of such matters as may be referred to it, and to submit such appropriate advice and recommendation as it may deem fit, to the director of public works.
