Delayed Pool Openings for Lifeguard Safety Training

Wailuku, Maui -  The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Division announces the following late openings in order to provide safety training for staff.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2017, the following Central Maui pools will be reopened at 2 p.m. after training: Sakamoto, Shiraishi, Kokua and New Wailuku. The Upcountry pool and Kihei and Lahaina aquatic centers will all reopen at 2:30 p.m. after training. 

The next time the pools will close for training will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. On that day Sakamoto, Shiraishi, Kokua and New Wailuku pools will reopen at 10:30 a.m ,while Kihei, Lahaina, and Upcountry pools will reopen at 11:00 a.m.
